Usually it’s best to keep your child home with any symptoms of a cold or flu, but visit our Daily Health Checklist page to learn when the Greater Victoria School District recommends keeping your child home and what to do if the symptoms get better or worsen.

If your child is arriving to school late please send them in through the main entrance to check in with the office.

If you need to pick up your child early please call the office at 250-595-2444 or tap on the window outside the office and we will call your child down to meet you outside.

Oaklands Elementary School is a vibrant community school that encompasses a population of approximately 500 K-5 students. Students are instructed in Fine Arts, Athletics, Core curriculum (Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies), Social Responsibility, French (Grades 4-5), and Health and Career.
